2 1/2 cups blanched broccoli florets
3/4 cup hung curd (dahi)
1/2 cup fresh cream
2 tbsp roasted besan (bengal gram flour)
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1/8 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp ginger (adrak)
1/4 cup diced mozzarella cheese
salt to taste
2 tbsp melted butter

  1. To make tandoori malai broccoli, in a deep bowl, add hung curd, fresh cream, besan, pepper, cardamom powder, garam masala, chaat masala, ginger green chilli paste, cheese and salt and mix well.
  2. Add broccoli florets and gently mix with the marinade.
  3. Arrange them on a lined baking tray and brush them using melted butter.
  4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400° f) for 15 to 18 minutes on the upper rack.
  5. Serve tandoori malai broccoli with green chutney and onion rings.
