450 gm butter
450 gm sugar
9 eggs-separated
450 gm ground almonds
187.5 gm melted chocolate
To Serve
grated chocolate whipped creamicing sugar to dust
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. beat in egg yolks and fold in ground almonds and cool melted chocolate.
- Whip the whites until stiff. fold into chocolate mixture. pour into a 9" greased and lined cake tin.
- Bake at 180 degrees c until the cake is firm to the touch. turn out and cool. decorate and serve.
